Some thoughts about Red Lanterns #30

In a planet far away from Guy Gardner's band of Red Lanterns one of their kind is about to be born.

A judge from the planet Primeen has served justice well for years but now brutally betrayed by the people she trusted the most, she will be revived as a terrifying being who is about to judge anyone who has done wrong. The biggest concern here though, is who will be the first to get close to her, Guy or Atrocitus.

Another brilliantly told issue from Charles Soule. The author has shown an immense talent at delivering personality in all of these characters and this issue is no exception.

We behold the interaction between all the members from the cast and how all of them are handling the current situation. The dialogue works wonderfully for characterization being either between Zillius Zox and Skallox, Kara and Bleex or Guy and anybody else, this is a great way to depict their motivations and they're introduced in pretty natural ways.

Plus, this issue had a lot of content. Besides the character work, we also had the Judge main story that will certainly confront both Guy and Atrocitus in future issues and I'm sold in this story so far.

Alessandro Vitti is accompanied by Jim Calafiore in pencils and their work complement each other's perfectly, they're styles are pretty similar and it creates a quite cohesive read.

What more can I say? This is one of my favorite reads each week and this issue is a perfect sample of why.
