Some thoughts about Teen Titans #30

The Teen Titans have finally returned to their own time but after losing so many people are they willing to keep fighting?

Many events have effected this group of superpowered teenagers and have changed them, in some cases for the worst and it seems like there's no moment of peace since their enemies continue to come wanting to destroy them.

I'm sorry but this story was random as hell.

What the hell happened here? The team returns to their own time and they fight a couple of random metahumans and later they're reunited by Skitter who suddenly is all fine and dandy and now it results that her mother is Amanda Waller? (I'm assuming that is her, I don't know anymore). Then just a few moments later they fight a villain they haven't seen in ages.

Seriously, I don't even understand how Scott Lobdell consider this a compelling idea for a penultimate issue since it's completely incoherent.

Oh and we have an epilogue for Kid Flash and Solstice, because I really want to know what happens to them after all the murders they commited.

Scott McDaniel does the breakdown for both sections while Tyler Kirkham finishes the artwork and I must say that I really like the combination of styles, it works pretty well for both of them.

The best part of this issues was the Bunker and Beast Boy segments where Miguel goes to visit his family and boyfriend, the story is pretty cute overall but also pretty random as well. This segment is drawn by Scott Kolins who brings a quite lighthearted style that fits the story quite nicely.

This is not really a disappointment since it pretty much follows the trend from most of this volume and we still got the Annual next week. Not going to be optimistic.
