Some thoughts about Trinity #20

The search for Steve Trevor has started.

Deimos has kidnapped Steve and the Trinity will do all in their power to find him but their travels could be more dangerous than expected.

Is funny since I just talked about Wonder Woman and mentioned how quick of a read that was this week.

Well, this one is even QUICKER! I don't understand what James Robinson is doing in the last few months but it seems like he's basically creating filler issues with as little content as possible to complete a clearly decompressed arc. This issue is just dedicated to the search for Steve and while that is not bad per se, what happens here is basically just a big action scene where the Trinity fights a bunch of creatures from Deimos and doesn't offer much beyond that. I was honestly just going through the pages and went the final one arrived I just said: "What? That's the end? It can't be" but it actually was.

This is a disappointment because I feel like this story started quite strongly, mind you the conclusion might be worth the wait but so far is following a pretty bad trend.

Jack Herbert and Tyler Kirkham share the pencils and their work is decent enough with expressive characters and strong sction.

Other than that, perfectly skippable issue.
