Commissioner Gordon has been declared guilty for the death of several people, how will Batgirl react?
Barbara Gordon is starting to lose control and her rage is making her much more violent and unreasonable than ever, Meanwhile a desperate Stephanie Brown is trying to escape from her father unknowing that other people she thinks she can trust may also be working with him.
The fourth issue of this weekly series and I must say that while solid, is not as strong as the previous entries.
This time we're focused on Barbara Gordon and how she's handling the recent events concerning her father, she's not handling them well at all and in fact I would say that she has become a completely different character by now. I will still wait to see how this development is turning for her but so far I don't consider it the best course of actions.
The worldbuilding continues to be strong by including some interesting aspects about Blackgate and some of the criminals that were imprisoned there. Plus, the Stephanie Brown scenes are always great to behold despite that she's mostly running for her life. However, I don't feel like many interesting plot-points were introduced or developed here in comparison to previous issues.
Trevor McCarthy replaces Jason Fabok on pencils and while his work is pretty different from Fabok's, is still pretty competent and tells the story pretty well.
Solid issue but I hope that the following ones improve a few aspects.
