Some thoughts about Batman and Wonder Woman #30

Batman will have to set foot in Paradise Island but he will need the help of Wonder Woman if he wants to go through the Amazons.

Ra's Al Ghul has brought the corpse of Damian to Themyscira to see if he can revive him to serve his cause. Bruce will have to deal with the kind of supernatural events that he's not accustomed to if he wants to put his son's body to rest.

The second chapter of "The Hunt for Robin" storyline and Peter Tomasi continues to demonstrate a good handle about the rest of the DCU.

This time he focuses in the Wonder Woman mythos and it's good to see that he's following the concepts and story created by Brian Azzarello, the interpretation of such ideas are perfectly on-point with what we have already seen in the main Wonder Woman title and it's good to see another perspective from the current events. Plus, we even behold some other aspects from Paradise Island that were not truly explored in the proper WW series, it was a nice worldbuilding.

The ongoing Robin plot is handled adequately and Ra's motivations are clearer now considering his objectives involving his daughter and grandson and their relationship with Bruce.

Patrick Gleason continuues in charge of the artwork and his style is splendid. His figures are not exactly natural but the characters evoke a great presence, especially the way he depicts the amazons. The storytelling is completely on-point too and there are some really creative scenes here.

Another great chapter from this arc, it has been a nice change of pace.
