The Silver Surfer is about to face the Never Queen and the infinite outcomes that she brings.
The Never Queen is able to create uncountable numbers of possibilities which the Silver Surfer could ahve lived and will make him realize that he has an special connection with Dawn Greenwood, the girl from Earth who seems to be more important than what it seems.
The second issue from the new series based on the ex-Herald of Galactus and it continues to deliver a creative and energetic story.
Dan Slott's script is quite good focusing in interesting aspects like Silver Surfer's history and his interactions with the different characters from the Marvel universe, Slott certainly has a good knowledge about the character and exploits it to tell a pretty vibrant tale.
The characterization of Dawn is also pretty good, she's obviouly a quite unique girl despite of being simply human and the connection that Slott creates between her and Silver Surfer makes a lot of sense now. It makes me wonder where he's going to take their relationship.
But of course, half of the credit still belongs to Mike Allred whose incredibly inventive and stylish pencils bring a lot of compelling ideas and a fantastic tone that makes this series one of the most unique Marvel titles currently.
Another great issue from this creative team, I wish we could get more series like this.
