Some thoughts about Action Comics #30

It's time for Superman to strike back and no force in earth is able to stop that.

After seeing the creatures from underworld being brutally murdered and Baka having to return to his home for the same reason, Clark is decided to stop the organization behind the Ghost Soldier's action, but are they truly as terrible as they appear to be.

This is another winner my friends, you don't get a purer Superman title than this one currently.

Greg Pak does a wonderful job at exploring Clark's character including classic aspects from his history like his relationship with his father and how his words influenced Superman's actions. It's a really great method of characteization that conpletely defines the protagonist with just a few words and scenes that demonstrates it.

The Ghost Soldiers are also pretty interesting threats and their abilities and mission are fully explained here. Not only that but we see the beginning of the Superman: Doomed upcoming crossover with the appearance of Doomsday.

Aaron Kuder is accompanied this time by Jeo Dougherty and Karl Kerschl in pencils and while it remains solid, it's a bit inconsistent at times. Kuder's work continues to be strongest though.

Excellent issue, people who love Superman must get this book.
