Some thoughts about Green Lantern: New Guardians #30

The Godkillers are decided to destroy X'Hal and her reign to her people, what can Kyle Rayner do about this?

The power of the White Lantern has been increasing since the first day it was bestowed upon Kyle and he will have use all of it if he wants to save the habitants of this planet and their Goddess. Unfortunaly, Kyle will not be able to save all of them.

The conclusion of this three-part arc about the existence of Gods in the universe and I must say that I really appreciate what the creative team of Justin Jordan and Brad Walker have been doing in this series.

I'm not talking only about the usual great quality work that it's indeed present in the characterization, dialogue and themes that are being introduced here, but also about the one-and-done, two-part and three-part stories that connect to an overarching plot, I truly love when authors uses this kind of storytelling, it gives the reader a greater sense of accomplishment after seeing the different sub-plots that have been appearing since the start and how they develope.

Now we witness what was the point of this storyline and how it reflects to Kyle's character and new abilities the Annual coming at the end of this month will continue this plot-point which is a pretty intriguing one I might add.

Brad Walker is accompanied by Diogenes Neves on art duties this time and while Walker's work remains the stronger thanks to his typical creative and energetic pencils, Neves also does a solid job at following that style.

Anyway, an excellent culmination for this storyarc. I really want to see where they go with this direction.
