The attacks against the Superman family don't stop.
The Eradicator has suddenly appeared in the Fortress of Solitude and Clark is not going to let him hurt his loved ones. However, even he might not be able to stop him.
Peter Tomasi's run continues and while it doesn't present some of his classic problems, it still has some things I don't like.
Accompanied by Patrick Gleason in writing, Tomasi offers a new chapter where he focuses on how Superman deals with the threat of the Eradicator. Considering that this Clark already knows this universe is not the same as the old one, I still don't know why he's so prompt to attack others. However, that's not the biggest problem since the Eradicator does turn-out to be evil but the story spends a few moments pretending that he's not and so they feel mostly like a waste of time. At least they offer some of his background though.
Oh, and Krypto is apparently killed and I don't like that, at all. Hopefully there's more than meets the eye here.
Jorge Jimenez handles the artwork and is pretty good looking with beautiful characters and a vibrant style. The storytelling can be a bit wonky though.
Not liking this, I hope I can just read Action Comics to know what's happening in this line.
I still like it...
