The Omega Men's plans are being unveiled.
Kyle Rayner continues to be overwhelmed by the situation while his captors are trying to use people related to them in their favor and not all of them will survive.
Er, some of the things that have been bugging me continue here sadly.
Tom King offers a new chapter where he continues to develope not only the story but also the whole universe where it's being told and that's one of its strongest points. The worldbuilding is pretty interesting with several mythos being explored and gives the book a nice sense of depth.
Not only that but the writer also manage to make this issue focus on a character in particular who receives a pretty good portrayal that fits perfectly into his own culture.
HOWEVER, King keeps his usual ticks like the obsession with repeating certain words to try to create an effect being either "Alpha", "Omega", "Broot" and of course "Omega Men" which become pretty distracting and affect the flow of the story.
Barnaby Bagenda is back on pencils and his work is really good with a pretty distinctive style that brings a great sense of presentation to the story.
Still, there were many flaws I saw in this issue to recommend it sadly.
