Catwoman's time as a crime lord is coming to an end.
After handling her family business for so long, Selina is ready to give the role to someone more appropriate but first, she needs to make Black Mask pay for his actions.
Well, Genevieve Valentine is certainly wrapping things up for the conclusion of her run.
This issue deals with a lot of ramifications for everything that has been happening since the beginning of the writer's work in the title, especially considering what happened in the last chapter concerning Black Mask and Eiko's father so it's good to know that there's some sense of closure about that.
Overall, I would say that the encounter between Selina and Black Mask was well handled but a bit too quick and rushed. It's an appropriate final battle but not a particularly impressive one.
Her relationship with Eiko though, is something I consider a wasted potential. Despite of how hyped Selina becoming canon Bisexual was, their "romance" was almost non-existant and I wish it would have been explored better before becoming full enemies.
David Messina is still handling the artwork and I'm still loving his semi-cartoony and detailed style.
Solid issue despite of some complaints. Let's see if the finale delivers.
