Some thoughts about Justice League United #14

The Justice League is about to fight one of the strangest wars they have ever seen.

Vandal Savage has been captured by Sgt. Rock and he's ready to interrogate the immortal for all the terrible things he has done. However, the team will have to face bigger problems than mere humans.

I certainly wasn't expecting to see the G.I. Zombie and the Creature Commandos in this issue but I'm glad they appear here.

Jeff Parker continues his story about the team going to the past while making an interesting connection between the protagonists and the people who live in this time. The characterization is great as a whole with every member from the cast acting competently and having a nice moment in the spotlight.

That's without mentioning the appearance of supernatural heroes like G.I. Zombie and Frankenstein that I already mentioned but it's worth repeating. They instantly make the story much more entertaining and seeing Robotman fighting them might be the highlight of the issue.

Paul Pelletier is still on art duties and his work is truly great with good looking and detailed characters and solid storytelling techniques.

Great issue, wish this title wouldn't have been cancelled.
