Superman is ready to take some action at last.
After being manipulated for a while, Clark is ready to go after the people culprit of it but first he will need to get into some points.
Yeah, the summary is not very clear but that's mostly because this issue itself is not very clear.
I don't know if Gene Luen Yang is overcompensating here for the previous issues but it seems like he tries to fit too many things around here and creates a problematic storytelling. Clark finds Hordr-Root but doesn't arrest him or take him down and instead he goes instantly to fight other random people that I'm not sure have anything to do with the main plot or Clark's mission. There's no rest at all during the whole chapter with creates a pretty chaotic pacing.
Not only that but the rest of the world seem like they either don't know anything about Superman or they haven't been hearing the news since they keep talking about him in awkward and stupid ways.
The saving grace here is Howard Porter's artwork which is quite complex and manages to make a lot of the scenes look great.
Not impressed yet with this run and I doubt I will be.
