Some thoughts about Batman #45

The new Batman might not be as efficient as he thought.

Gordon's last case didn't go as well as his boss expected and they're ready to make things better one way or another. However, Mr. Bloom is still threatening the whole city and there might be no time for training.

Once again, I'm liking where this is going.

Scott Snyder continues his storyarc where he developes not only Gordon but also several members from the cast. Jim is still the main player obviously and some of the scenes that the writer is able to depict are nicely done and makes his whole scenario much more interesting, especially when he needs to prove himself of being worthy of the mantle.

The rest of the characters though, receive just as much importance. Bruce's new mentality is still being explored and gives a nice insight of how things would have gone without all the tragedy that surrounded him and present him as a pretty likable character. There are even some cameos like Duke and mentions of his role in We Are Robin.

Greg Capullo remains in charge of the pencils and his work is still wonderful with a pretty creative storytelling and beautiful characters.

Solid issue, no complaints really.
