Bat-Mite is about to improve some of the most pathetic heroes that ever existed.
The Inferior Five are trying and failing to stop Gridlock and Bat-Mite thinks he's the right person to lead them to become better. However, this might not be the best solution for them.
Welp, this team-up goes as fun as you would expect.
Dan Jurgens offers a new chapter where he reintroduces the Inferior Five, one of the most ridiculous teams ever created, to the DCU and their depiction are pretty accurate while their interaction with Bat-Mite are automatically hilarious. This is the kind of stories this series was made for.
The transformation that the characters suffer do make them into what the protagonist thinks is "better" which end-up being borderline 90's characterizations with violent heroes who try to act cooler than what they actually are. It's a quite entertaining contrast with their true characters.
Corin Howell continues on art duties and her work still shines in terms of character expressions and humour while making every scene appealing in a cartoony way.
Yet another fun issue, hope that the final one is just as good.
