Superman and Wonder Woman are going through one of their worst moments.
After what happened with his friends, Clark doesn't know if he should trust Diana but he will need to if he wants to find the people culprit of the current attacks.
Oh my God, this issue deserves so many praises just because of one single scene.
Just at the beginning of the issue, Lois continued with her typical assholish attitude and Lana represented the response of the whole audience in one. Single. Punch! It was so deserving and so satisfying that it can easily become the most entertaining single image from this week.
The rest of the issue progresses nicely. Peter Tomasi continues to develope the relationship between Diana and Clark with both representing their own side in a convincing way. The best part about this is that there's no right side and the writer doesn't simply justify Diana's actions so it makes the situation much more believable. Speaking of which, this is connected to the preview from the DC You teaser and is good to see finally being explored.
Doug Mahnke handles the artwork and is beautiful as usual with gorgeous characters and quite precise storytelling that makes every moment even better.
Quite entertaining issue. Really invested in this now.
