The Justice League is currently feeling what an universe without Darkseid actually means and is changing them drastically and in many cases for the worst.
Well, this was certainly an intesting chapter all right.
Geoff Johns delivers a new installment of the event Darkseid War and does it in a way like no other author has done so. What happens after the death of Darkseid? Is a pretty interesting question and one that shows a much more intriguing answer that I could have anticipated.
This issue explains the exact affects of what happens to existence as a whole and it has an especially powerful effect in the team. Everyone is becoming much different and reflect a new status quo. I'm not going to say much about this due to SPOILERS but it certainly prepares the characters for the upcoming one-shots that they're going to receive.
Francis Manapul is in charge of the artwork and he manages to inject a lot of style in the story with beautiful characters and a pretty creative look.
Yet another great issue and makes me invested in what happens next. Well done.
