There's a new Batman in town, one that could destroy the old one.
Bruce and Supergirl are being forced to fight a new Batman who is taking the job as seriously as the old one. That's not the only problem though since Lois Lane and the Injustice League are planning to attack at last.
Oh my God, this issue made me laugh with every page.
Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis continue their worldbuilding of the future by not only concentrating on a lot of environments that exist in this time but also developing the characters that exist on it and most of them receive an interesting moment in the spotlight.
From Guy Gardner not feeling like himself (literally), to Fire and Ice exploring the prison world, to Batman and Supergirl facing a new Dark Knight, to Lois Lane and her usual melodrama, etc. Each scene manages to progress the plot perfectly and each one also includes some hilarious moments.
And as fan of such character in particular, I'm glad to see her at the end of the issue.
Howard Porter returns to art duties and his work is as great as usual with beautiful characters and quite complex environments that makes every segment even better.
Great chapter, one of my favorites so far.
