The true nature of Rao will finally be revealed.
People around the world are being converted to Rao's religion but the Justice League are having more and more doubts about his intentions and they will discover that they were right for not believing.
Okay, this issue actually worked better than previous ones.
Bryan Hitch continues his story about the Krypton God arriving to Earth and he's developing several factors from the mythos that are connected to him and Superman. Being either Green Lantern traveling to Kandor or Cyborg investigating Clark's connection to Rao. It's a much more interesting read as a whole.
Not only that but the characters are in fact better portrayed for the most part. There's actually an explanation about why Superman accepted Rao's will so easily and the rest of the cast worked nicely.
The plot though, is still cliche as usual since this whole story about a benevolent God who is not what he appears has been told several times in the past but at least is getting some compelling moments.
Hitch's artwork seems a bit rushed at times. Some of the characters and environments are less detailed and they don't look as good overall.
An improvement certainly, let's see how this works at the end.
