Nothing can stop Lobo from killing the rest of the Corps.
The Red Lanterns are apparently not a challenge for the powerful Czarnian who is killing them easily and without mercy. However, death might not be the end for them.
Yep, nothing can stop Lobo all right.
You know, after months, months and months of the same typical stuff about Lobo killing everyone in his path in the less creative ways possible you would think that Cullen Bunn would get tired of it just as much as the audience but apparently that's not the case.
This is repetitive as hell and worst of all, it doesn't present the rest of characters correctly due that the Red Lanterns are incredibly stupid and incompetent here. There's a good thing at the end though since it seems like they're not truly dead, they have just become more stupid.
Although I really hope they revive Rankorr too. God knows that his portrayal and death here were terrible.
Also, there's no mention about the rape that Lobo suffered yet. There are only two issues left, make them count.
Robson Rocha is in charge of pencils here and his work is solid with nice character models and action scenes.
Welp, this was predictable and quite lacking in content. I feel ripped off.
"Also, there's no mention about the rape that Lobo suffered yet."
ResponderBorrarGiven the storyline of the past two issues, which had him hunting Lanterns, it's kind of inappropriate to bring it up at this point. Having it go from him hunting Lanterns to suddenly getting caught up by the trauma of what occurred would be an extremely awkward fit here. There was a slight mention in the previous issues (the Lobo Annual and #10), maybe next issue it will be explored.
"it doesn't present the rest of characters correctly." Same thing could be said with every comic book character.
ResponderBorrarthis books been pretty disappointing for awhile now
