Green Arrow will need Tarantula's help if he wants to stop an horde of assassins.
Strange murderers have been appearing over Seattle and Catalina might be connected to them. Now Ollie will be forced to face strange events if he wants to learn more about their nature.
Okay, while the Annual from this week made me absolutely detest this run. This issue just made me laugh.
Ben Percy is back with another issue where continues to use his usual heavyhanded narration and is particularly obvious when he starts describing how the Skeletons behave in an unnecessarily detailed way without letting their actions speak for themselves. It's a pretty classic flaw of "Tell, don't show" which is abundant during his run.
I'm not really a fan of the importance that Tarantula is receiving here either since the author continues to mention how she's apparently right about everything she says and is giving me bad Cupid vibes.
However, there are some unintentionally hilarious moments provided by unnatural dialogue like when the Skeletons attack a bank while the employees tell them: "Stop, you have to buy a ticket!" and "Are you guys part of a new installation?" which are so absurd that is just hysterical.
Other than that, the issue is pretty uneventful and not a lot of happens. Pretty poor progress.
Patrick Zircher is accompanied by Federico Dallocchio on art duties and both of them complement each other's style nicely with a pretty clean and detailed look.
Badly executed issue but hey, what else can you expect?
