Some thoughts about Batman and Robin Eternal #1

What is the secret story behind the first Robin?

Dick Grayson has returned to Gotham City to follow his missions and reconnect to his family. However, he will soon learn there was strange events about his first case as Robin that were not revealed up to this point.

Yet another weekly series based on the Batman universe and so far seems interesting enough.

Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV arrive with a story where they explore the relationship between the different sidekicks that Batman has while at the same time contemplating the current events about how Bruce has forgotten his memory and there's a new Batman in town.

The characterization is solid enough with each member of the cast acting appropriately while putting a strong emphasis in their dynamic and how they handle this new status quo. Plus, there's the reintroduction of fan-favorite character Cassandra Cain to the DCU which will most certainly make a lot of people happy.

The idea of "a secret history" about the first Robin is nothing particularly new but at least the writers seem to be playing nicely with it. Hopefully it will become more engaging over the course of the story.

Tony Daniel is in charge of the artwork and his work is beautiful as you would expect but at times it seemed kinda rushed and not up to the same quality you would expect from him.

Not bad so far overall. Let's see how it developes.
