Some thoughts about Batman Beyond #5

There's only one way to survive.

Tim will be forced to accept the legacy of Batman despite that it was the last thing he wanted but even if he manages to do it, he will also need the help of his old mentor.

This issue worked better than previous ones but still not quite there.

Dan Jurgens delivers a new chapter where he focused on character development for Tim about the things he had to endure when he become Red Robin and how he never wanted to be Batman. Is a pretty logical character work and certainly seems on-point. His relationship with the rest of the cast like Barbara are enjoyable too.

The action scenes are well-paced and depicted and fortunately also deliver some nice portrayals. However, there are not particularly great either and don't provide the kind of great moments you would want.

Bernard Chang is still in art duties and his work is beautiful with gorgeous characters and intense fight scenes.

I would say that is solid but don't expect anything more than that.
