Some thoughts about Harley Quinn #16

Harley Quinn's plan to save the world involves a date.

Zorcrom has decided to take Power Girl as his queen and to stop him from causing more damage, Harley will have to indulge him.

Fun as always my dear Harley Quinn.

Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring a new chapter where they continue their story about a superpowered tyrant trying to take over the world. The writers obviously take this premise with the classic sense of humour of this book by not focusing on a big battle but instead of mundane and entertaining things like a date to distract and ultimately defeat the creature. All accompanied by the usual jokes.

Plus, there are several plot-points going on that makes this read much richer including an upcoming gang of cannibals as well as a vision of the future and the fate of Harley.

John Timms and Joseph Michael Linsner handle the artwork and they work nicely in their respective sections by focusing on the cartoony nature of the title.

Pretty enjoyable and excited for the arrival of Paul Dini in the next one.
