Some thoughts about Batman #19

Bane has arrived to Arkham Asylum, nothing good can come from it.

Bane is facing every villain Gotham City has to reach his objective but that could prove to be his end.

This is the first issue in this run in a while that I actually liked it.

Tom King's run hasn't been the best, I think at this point everyone knows that. However, during this chapter he presents a pretty intense fight between Bane and the rest of Batman's rogues gallery which admitedly demonstrates the strong presence of Bane and how everything starts building-up to the ultimately last confrontation.

Plus, there's also an explanation about why Bane wanted the Psycho-Pirate and why he manipulated everyone to get him. That being said, this also raises the question about why he didn't simply tell that to Bruce and avoid all of this but eh.

David Finch's storytelling is also pretty good while being able to depict the fight in a pretty brutal way.

The repetition is still there, the awkward lines are still but they're not as noticeable this time fortunately.
