Some thoughts about Harley's Little Black Book #6

Harley is about to meet someone as crazy and brutal as her.

Harley's travels have taken her into a spaceship that contains some of the worst criminals in the universe which is connected to one of the best mercenaries in the galaxy.

This team-up is so logical that I'm surprised it didn't happen before.

People who are familiarized with the character of Lobo know about his crazy, violent and completely over the top misadventures so pairing him up with Harley Quinn makes a lot of sense. Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner exploit this premise perfectly by almost immediately turning this into a gorefest where most characters who appear here get killed in brutal and bloody ways which clearly is also done to support the comedic tone of the story.

Plus, both writers implement the sexual nature of the characters perfectly by making their story strangely both gross and sexy, the issue is full of images where both of them are naked and making fun of such fact.

Simon Besly is in charge of the artwork and at first I didn't like his bizarre style but it ultimately fits the premise of the story perfectly due that he makes the violent moments even more violent thanks to the great attention to detail.

Quite entertaining, hope the next one arrives soon.
