Some thoughts about Gotham Academy: Second Semester #7
Olive has been trying to keep her friends safe from the new girl who has been causing trouble around Gotham Academy but the truth might be too shocking for Olive to handle.
Well, this is something I've seen coming for a while.
Becky Cloonan, Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl deliver a new chapter where they finally explore the truth about Amy and what's her connection to Olive. The writers have been leaving a lot of clues about the true nature of the character and while it has been obvious since the last few issues, they still managed to make the reveal interesting and the result compelling.
Plus, there are several other plot-points being developed inside the academy which are centered around some of its members as well as, of course, Olive and her fate.
Adam Archer and Msassyk handle the artwork and both manage to keep a consistent cartoony style that is pretty reminiscent of Kerschl's which is quite appropriate for the book.
Really enjoyable, excited for the next one.
