Some thoughts about The Flash #18

The Flash will need the help of one of his enemies.

Wally is trying to find out what happened to Daniel West and to help him, Barry will have to search for the only person who might have a clue about it.

Yet another promising beginning.

Joshua Williamson opens a new chapter where he explores one of the sub-plots that have been ignored since the end of Sean Ryan's New Suicide Squad: Whatever happened to Daniel West? For people who don't know he apparently died in one of the missions of the squad but there's also a possibility that he was lost in time due to the way the scene was presented and is cool that Williamson is actually developing on the premise at last. The connection between Daniel and Wally is nicely presented and gives Wally a justifiable reason to look for him.

The best part arrives when both Barry and Wally find Captain Boomerang. The characterization for the Rogue is pretty solid since the writer actually gives Digger a pretty respectful and enjoyable portrayal while playing with the events of Justice League Vs. Suicide Squad.

Jesus Merino handles the artwork and is serviceable with expressive characters and decent storytelling but is not that good.

Pretty solid overall, hope the next one is just as good.
