Clark is still investigating what caused the rise of the dead in his hometown and he's getting closer by discovering that some of its people might be the culprit.
I must say that I'm liking the current direction.
Greg Pak continues to explore Clark's roots by delivering a story where he reveals some new aspects from the protagonist past while also connecting them with the current plot and creating a good conflict with the villains. The characterization remains quite good for all the members of the cast.
Plus, it was good to see some of this own creations like the Toymaster playing a role here.
If I have a complaint though, is that the issue was over too quickly, I felt like ti was a little light in content.
Aaron Kuder returns on pencils and his work as creative as expected, especially in some of the flashback scenes where he goes with a different style.
Nice issue despite of the content.
