Gorilla Grodd knows what are the secrets behind the current events that have been happening in Atlantis but he's not willing to give them to Arthur easily. Now to find out, Arthur will need to defeat Grodd in hand to hand battle.
I'm eating my words, I'm really enjoying this now.
Jeff Parker continues his work in Maelstrom saga with a pretty entertaining issue where he explores the civilization of Gorilla City while explaining why is such an interesting place. Really good worldbuilding overall.
Grodd is also presented as an interesting antagonists who has a lot of presence and personality. He's not that much of a threat for Aquaman but he was still nicely portrayed.
Oh, and the main story fortunately continues to progress.
Paul Pelletier remains on artwork and his style continues to be as detailed, complex and beautiful.
Nice issue once again, excited to see where this is going.
