Hal Jordan is about to encounter Highfather and try to reason with him before everything is lost. Can the leader of the Green Lantern Corps be able to save everyone from destruction? Even if he can, there might be yet more problems coming.
Godhead finale and I would say that is appropriate.
Robert Venditti delivers a conclusion where he ties-up every plot-point and sub-plot that has been happening during his time on this franchise. From Kyle's fate as the White Lantern to Saint Walker's triumphant return, it was a pretty satisfactory read in terms of pay-off.
The fight against the New Gods is well-depicted although I have some problems in the way how Highfather was defeated since I feel it was a bit predictable, it still felt pretty adequate all things considered.
Billy Tan handles the pencils for the entire Annual and his work manages to capture the sense of scope perfectly with really vibrant scenes.
Satisfying conclusion I believe. Let's see what the future has to offer.
