Deadman, Black Orchid and Madame Xanadu are currently lost in another dimension due to the House of Wonders and they have no other choice but play with the rules of such place.
I'm really impressed about how much content this series delivers with each issue.
J.M. DeMatteis focuses this time on the cast of Deadman, Black Orchid and Madame Xanadu and how they're currently in strange reign where time never moves and people stay the same forever.
The worldbuilding is pretty strong which is something I've been noting for a while in this run. Every chapter delivers a new concept to be used in the supernatural real and all of them are pretty compelling.
The characterization is solid with the author concentrating in Madame Xanadu especially as well as giving some details about Black Orchid's origin.
Andres Guinaldo is still handling the artwork and he's able to deliver a lot of expressive characters and really complex environments.
Good issue once again, you will get your money worth in terms of story.
