Some thoughts about Batwoman #37

Batwoman will have to deal with more of the supernatural side of Gotham City.

Kate has succumbed to the influence of Nocturna and now she will need to control herself from hurting others while at the same time finding herself in a mission along with Etrigan the Demon that somehow includes Ragman and Clayman too.

I don't think this story worked as well as I was expecting.

Marc Andreyko's vision is not really a bad one but in terms of execution is a bit flawed. The story is presented in a kind of disjointed way which makes me realize that is not really progressing that much.

Speaking of which, this issue was a pretty fast read, it was over quite quickly.

Some of the ideas and characters are interesting but they're not enough to compensate for the lack of content and overall distinctiveness.

Georges Jeanty continues on art duties and his work is really good at times but in other places it looks a bit unrefined, some of the characters look kinda awkward.

This was merely decent sadly, hopefully the next issues will be better.
