How will Harley spend the Holidays?
Harley not only has to worry about saving animals but also making a little girl happy on Christmas. Plus, she's also concerned about how time is currently passing and she's sure there must be a way for it to stop.
Well, this certainly gave me a smile.
Is necessary to mention that this issue is divided in three sections and each one deliver their own tale about different aspects of this season.
In the first segment, Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring a charming story where they make Harley try to save a family who has been suffering due to the festivities and they do it with their usual dose of humour while making Harley both likable and insane. I must say that I also really enjoyed how they integrated Harley's profession as a pychiatrist into the plot. The artwork is handled by Mauricet who has a pretty cartoony style that kinds reminds me of Bruce Timm's and also allows for a great range of expressions in the characters.
The second part belongs to a little tale about Harley hearing Christmas music on her ears and wanting it to stop by any cost. The art is brought by Brandt Peters who has a really distinctive and unique style that you don't usually see in comics, it has a lot of charm.
The third section is dedicated to the end of the year and is about Harley trying to find Father Time, a little story with the kind of jokes you would expect. The pencils are delivered by none other than Darwyn Cooke who creates a lot of nice scenes with his beautiful and detailed artwork,
So overall, this is a really good issue that you definitely should be picking up for the festivities.
