Lois Lane is currently investigating more about the mysterious vigilante of Gotham City while Superman is trying to figure what is the strange artifact he just found and what it could mean to the future of the planet.
I can't believe that I'm still enjoying this.
I thought that Paul Levitz would eventually drop the ball at this point but he hasn't yet, that's shocking. The author continues to deliver the best story from this series yet by exploring more about the past of the Superman and Batman from Earth 2 as well as the relationships with their respective lovers.
Is a nicely done tale where Levitz uses his knowledge about these heroes to create a pretty logical interaction between all of them. Plus, there's the ongoing plot about how Apokolips has been manipulating them from the beginning and we all know where that's going.
Not to mention that it had a lot of content which creates a much more satisfying read.
Again, I'm not a fan of Jed Dougherty's art due to his kinda unpolished character models and overall designs but he does know how to tell the story properly with detailed scenes.
Really solid issue. Shocking I tell you.
