The mission to stop the terrorists continues despite that the G.I. Zombie might not be ready for it.
Jared is currently suffering from the effects of his state but fortunately the government knows how to treat it. Not the only problem he will have to face though since people still want him gone.
This issue was a nice improvement over the previous one fortunately.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray continue to focus on both Jared and his partner and how they execute the mission in their own respective ways. The characterization is pretty strong and both protagonists demonstrate how competent they are in their skills.
The best part for me was how the authors handle the zombie state and what Jared does to control it, is a pretty interesting take for this kind of genre.
Scott Hampton remains on pencils and his work is as appropriate as usual with a really dark, semi-realistic and atmospheric look that sells the story.
Enjoyable installment. Sad to see this series being gone.
