Battling against Gods as well as Simon's words will make Guy realize that all the recent events have not been really his fault. Nonetheless, the war against the New Gods is still continuing andthe rest of the Corps will have to play yet another important role.
Charles Soule continues to demonstrate how well he got these characters.
The character work for Guy Gardner is strong as ever with some really interesting developments that focuses on all the things that Guy have to do over the course of this run and how they have changed him.
However, the author is clearly showing that the protagonist is much better than that and as I mentioned before, is pretty obvious that he's closing the door on his work for this hero.
Jim Calafiore is on art duties and his work is splendid with excellent expressions for the cast and quite detailed action scenes.
Satisfactory chapter. Onto the next one now.
