Some thoughts about Robin Rises: Alpha #1

Damian Wayne has returned to life but not all the dangers are over.

Darkseid's son, Kalibak, has arrived to earth along with Batman and his group and they all have little chance to survive. Now, it all depends on Damian and the new abilities he has gained.

Well, everything brings us to this point.

The story that basically started with The Hunt for Robin arc has finally come to a close and it has been a pretty uneven storyline overall with some good chapters and others that left a lot to be desired. So how does this conclusion fares?

Overall, I would say it's a fitting finale.

Peter Tomasi creates a conclusion in which he basically showcases the new status quo for Damian Wayne which focuses on his new superpowers that make him the most powerful Robin that ever existed.

It's a decently executed chapter with some really good action segments as well as some nice character moments that even reminisce segments from the first storyline of this series. Hopefully, this new direction will develope a good amount of quality issues for the future.

And I say "hopefully" mostly for you because I don't plan to keep covering this up. I have been pretty disappointed about how this story was told in general and I don't plan to keep covering it unless there's a huge improvement.

Andy Kubert is on art duties and his work is really on-point due that he manages to depict all the scenes perfectly being either the big or the most personal ones.

I'm tempted to say it's solid installment but it didn't really make up for the whole ordeal.
