Catwoman is back in Gotham City but she's not the same you know.
Eiko Hasigawa is the heir of one of the most powerful families in the city but she feels like there's something else that she desires to do. Now, inspired by Selina Kyle's actions she's willing to fight her previous life.
The new direction of Catwoman continues with other successful chapter.
Genevieve Valentine focuses this time on one of the plot-points she introduced at the beginning of her run, especifically the new vigilante who is using Selina's previous alias. Is a pretty interesting story that explores the mentality of Eiko Hasigawa and what motivates her to take this new role.
The writing continues to be quite intelligent by developing a lot of great and subtle moments of characterization for the protagonist of this installment while as well exploring more about Selina Kyle and how she influenced in Eiko.
The art is provided by Pat Olliffe, Tom Nguyen and John McCrea. All of them do an excellent job at following the kind of tone that has been prevalent during this run and McCrea delivers one of his best efforts in a while.
Really satisfying read, hope that this remains the same for a long time.
