Some thoughts about Earth 2: World's End #11

The most powerful God of Apokolips has finally arrived.

Darkseid is decided to take control of Earth 2 and he will need the help of Mister Miracle and Terry Sloan to accomplish his objectives.

Good God, this is probably the worst chapter from this series yet and that's saying something.

I'm not talking from an execution perspective because the pacing is at least a little better this time. The dialogue is pretty blunt in some scenes though.

The thing that made it terrible for me was that Terry Sloan's origin has been completely retconned now. He's not man from Earth 2 anymore and he's ready to work alongside Darkseid to destroy this universe as long as his own new universe isn't touched.

This is ridiculous and offensive for people who were invested into the characters. Now, we're let to believe that all the actions that Sloan did to save this world didn't happen, that his own thoughts about the responsibility he had with this planet are not valid.

It actually makes him a much less interesting person now that the connection is lost. I can't believe they actually made me dislike a character in which I was initially invested.

The art is a little better now but still has the same overused tone.

Terrible issue, don't read it unless you want to be enraged.
