Some thoughts about Justice League #37

The Justice League is in danger and all of this has been unintentionally caused by Lex Luthor this time.

Superman and Batman are trying to find the first victim of the Amazo Virus to see if he has developed a way to counter its effects but he might prove to be more powerful than they could imagine. Meanwhile, Lex is still dealing with the people who want him dead and fearing that there are worse things coming.

The Amazo Virus storyarc continues with yet another solid but a bit light chapter.

Geoff Johns puts the Justice League on a really problematic mission where they all have to save both his teammates as well as the rest of the world from a sickness that is creating different effects for both humans and metahumans. The tension is well-done and the interactions between characters is still one of the best aspects from the book.

There are also some interesting sub-plots that connect to the overaching story and will most certainly receive pay-offs in the upcoming issues.

However, I must say this was still kind of a quick read, not as much as the last installment but is still a bit noticeable. Hopefully the next issues will be better in that regard.

Jason Fabok remains in art duties and his art is outstanding, I would say it looks even better than in the previous issue by creating really strong moments with wonderfully detailed characters.

Solid issue once again, let's hope that the next one progress the plot a bit more.
