Some thoughts about New Suicide Squad #5

The Suicide Squad will require new members for their next mission.

After Deathstroke's betrayal, Amanda Waller will have no choice but to make some additions to her group especially considering that Deadshot is still recovering. Can these guys achieve their objectives?

Do you know what is the worst thing about this for me? That I had high expectations for this series.

Sure, the early issues didn't exactly blow me away but I thought they ranged between decent to very solid. This issue however, was absolutely terrible.

Sean Ryan brings an incredibly short story with some awkward dialogue and characterization, especially from Harley Quinn who is acting even stranger and dumber than usual.

But seriously, this was incredibly light in content. I feel bad for actually paying for this one, the issue was over before it could get interesting in any way.

The Reverse-Flash doesn't have enough screen time nor interesting lines either, he's just a waste of space.

The art brought by Tom Derenick and Rob Hunter is probably one of the worse aspects from this issue. It simply looks ugly with lots of deformed characters and expressions and the story is not really well told.

Awful issue, you're out of the pull list unless you can prove you can become better Suicide Squad.
