Some thoughts about Futures End #35

One of the worst things from the future is coming for the heroes of the present.

Fifty-Sue will have to learn how to behave like an actual little girl. Amethyst has to save Frankenstein's life. Terry MacGuinnis and Plastique need to escape from the mounstrous Batman/Joker.

There some things that worked pretty well and others not so much.

The opening scene about Firestorm and Doctor Polaris is decent although I still don't like how heavyhanded Polaris' dialogue is.

The best segment was definitely the one focusing on Fifty-Sue and Lana Lang since they resolve their problem in a pretty interesting and surprising way that certainly create a new direction for their relationship. It was really well done.

The Amethyst section is decent once again. The final part focusing on Terry MacGuinnis and Plastique was good but I feel like it ended to abruptly.

Dan Green and Stephen Thompson share art duties and their work is pretty solid overall with some interesting scenes.

Overall, I would still say that is solid chapter the progressed the plot satisfactorily.
