Who are Gotham's new heroes?
Gotham and Gotham Girl are trying to prove Batman they're worthy of helping him save the city but he's not sure if they're ready. However, he will need all the help he needs since a mysterious threat is coming.
This new run continues and is still solid for what it tries to accomplish.
Tom King brings a new chapter where he starts developing the new characters Gotham and Gotham Girl and their dynamic with Batman. The story doesn't reveal much about their backgrounds but it shows a bit of their personality, or at least what they want to show, they're histories are apparenly going to be part of the main mystery.
The characterization is pretty on-point with Bruce having some classic moments where he talks about his own mortality and how he needs some partners despite that he doesn't trust them that much. King is also teasing the upcoming crossover about the Monster Men which is arriving soon.
The plot continues to be centered in both action and character moments which is not bad and certainly is still similar to what Scott Snyder was trying to do so readers from that run will feel more familiar with this work.
David Finch shows one of his strongest efforts lately in art duties with expressive characters and strong action scenes.
No complaints at all, as far as usual Batman stories this gets the job done.
