Some thoughts about Old Man Logan #9

No matter the time or universe, Wolverine's enemies are always after him.

Logan is trying to find what happened to Lady Deathstrike. However, he will soon realize that there are even more dangerous persons than her.

The story continues and this time the creative team takes us to one of Wolverine's classic themes.

Jeff Lemire brings a new chapter where he focuses on Logan's time in Japan which might be pretty familiar to people who know the character's history in that nation. The characterization continues to work greatly with the narration working perfectly to emphasize what the protagonist is feeling as well as his background.

The worldbuilding continues to be developed by connecting both Wolverine's past and present and showing how there are similarities here despite of being different universes. It will be interesting to see how this particular plot-point progresses.

Andrea Sorrentino remains in art duties and he still impresses at being consistent with each page, each layout telling its own story and working in an excellenct manner with the script, in many cases it improves it.

Pretty solid installment, hope to see more of this side of Japan soon.
