The Flash's life is about to become more complicated.
Barry is trying to figure out what to do after one of his friends gained powers thanks to the Speed Force. However, there are bigger matters at hand since a mysterious organization is going after them.
The series continues and is still a solid job but not exactly impressive.
Joshua Williamson brings a new chapter where he progresses the story of people around Barry gaining superpowers due to their connection to the Speed Force, this person being his friend August. The dynamic between the two is pretty logical and in-character based on Barry's own history, the contrast between their personalities also makes sense. The plot also progresses effectively by showing more hints about the antagonists as well as developing more the idea of the Speed Force choosing more speedsters.
On the other hand, the narration can be a bit dull at times. Aside from a kinda awkward "great power comes with great responsibility" reference, there's nothing particularly bad but there's nothing particularly great either. There are not really clever lines nor entertaining dialogue between the characters, it serves its purpose but it can be pretty cold in that regard.
Carmine Di Giandomenico continues in art duties and his work is pretty good looking, especially during the speed sections due that he's able to capture the kinectic nature of the character nicely.
Again, this is far from bad but I wish there was more personality.
