What can Gotham and Gotham Girl do to protect the city?
Batman is trying to learn more about his new allies just before the chaos around their city starts becoming worse once that Hugo Strange continues his attacks.
The series continues and it quite frankly still does a solid job.
Tom King delivers a new installment where he focuses on the background of Gotham and Gotham Girl and how the contrasts with Batman's. The narration flows nicely with the writer showing some moments of self-awareness by referencing how melodramatic it can be at times and demonstrating some fun moments in dialogue. Not bad at all.
The story itself progresses at a nice pace with Strange's plans coming to fruition and even bringing some classic DC villains to the city. It was also good to see classic Bruce Wayne's identity like Matches Malone to investigate more about the new characters.
David Finch still impresses at how consistent his work is so far with expressive characters, powerful action scenes and clear storytelling.
Pretty enjoyable, hope that it offers some new things soon though.
