Some thoughts about Doctor Fate #14

Doctor Fate will need to save the world in any way possible.

Khalid needs to learn more about how to control the forces of magic and the being that try to invade the Earth, is not an easy job.

Okay, there's not a lot different that happened here but I thought it was well-executed.

Paul Levitz delivers a new chapter where he continues to focus on Khalid's fight against the supernatural threats. This is not something new since is the same premise we had since the beginning of the book but the interaction between Nelson Kent and the protagonist makes this story enjoyable just like the different mythos that are incorporated here.

Inaki Miranda is probably one of the biggest aspects why I liked this so much. The artwork is gorgeous with a lot of beautiful panels and characters and while is different from the usual look of the book, is still fitting for the fight scenes.

There's a second segment also written by Levitz which focus on social commentary about the persecution of Muslim people and is pretty on-point with many different point of views being explored. The art provided by Brent Tamura follows the style of the book adequately.

Still enjoyable, hope to see more variety in the stories though.
