The Green Lanterns will have to fight against the rage.
The Red Lanterns are conquering Earth and Simon will need to find a better way to stop them besides fighting- However, that might not be enough to stop them.
Okay, some things worked and several didn't.
For one, Sam Humphries continues his story by developing more of the menace of the Red Lanterns as well as how that affect both Simon and Jessica. The characterization works nicely enough at times with both protagonists showing interesting moments that make them who they are, especially Simon who demonstrates a pretty enjoyable scene where his backrgound is explored and that helps him find a way to stop Bleez.
I said "at times" because this was still forced as hell. Just when you think the characterization is going to improve then the protagonists start arguing with each other for no justifiable reason, it feels pretty forced especially considering that Simon just showed his compassionate side. Speaking of which, Simon is not supposed to be like this, denigrating his allies and believing that he's better than them, where did this come from?
The narration is not the best either, is okay "at times" but it still presents some cheesy lines that try to be witty but they simply fail.
Tom Derenick, Jack Herbert, Neil Edwards and Robson Rocha share the pencils and their work is serviceable with some scenes looking better than others but I would prefer Rocha or Edwards going solo.
Not working, no hope remaining.
