Ultra-Humanite is about to conquer the world one way or another.
The Wonders of Earth 2 are trying to figure out if this world is worth saving but they won't have enough time to think since they're currently being attacked by people close to them.
I'm assuming that this series is about to end and is a shame if it does.
Dan Abnett brings a new chapter where he developes some of the plot-points he introduced during his run like the attack of the Ultra-Humanite, the hope of resurrecting the old Earth 2 and also the reappearance of Dick Grayson's son. All these plot-points manage to progress adequately and despite that a lot of the issue is dedicated to action, the story itself moves at a nice pace.
The characterization is pretty solid with the spotlight going to several of the members of the cast and each one of them reflects about what bringing the old Earth 2 back means. This creates an interesting conflict for them while their personalities remain unique.
Federico Dallocchio is in charge of the pencils and his work is pretty good with beautiful characters and a pretty clean style.
While I feel that the plot should have progressed a bit more, this was still enjoyable.
i agree...it was a pretty decent issue...his son looks like he has aged though....considerably bigger...
ResponderBorrarI think is because this is 1 year after the last time we saw him in story time.
